for you (read it please and comment)

salty tears drip down my face
these eyes have seen things
that no man should have to see
i will hide you from the darkness
i will keep you from all hurt
you will never be afraid
with my hollow wings of scars
covering your everymove
your eyes are alive with love
mine are dead from pain
my hands numb from scars
taking my life into my own hands
no-one was there
but i will be there for you |
