» Poem: Our Revolution Is Now
Our Revolution Is Now
written by YouSmileAs_I_Die
09:01 PM 3/30/05
Fists raised, voices screaming

People thrown to the ground,

Only to be helped up by perfect strangers

This is what bonds us, the music binds our souls

Together against a world that hates us

But the revolution has already begun

The wheels are in motion and you can't stop us

We're screaming battle cries against a world who

Disagrees with everything we stand for

Propaganda spewed out by the media stops here

And it's replaced by the influences of someone mighter

A lead singer takes up his microphone, the new-age sword

He screams out a message, getting the aproval of

An alienated generation

Fists raised, openly defiing death, conformity, sickness, and the like

The world stops here and now
