» Poem: Broken Chain
Broken Chain
written by Misstress_Avelina

Have you ever lived through one day,
Without putting yourself down?
Do you always constantly,
Wear that sullen angry frown?

You've planned out your death,
And all the ways that you could die.
But not once have you looked up,
And prayed with tears in your eyes.

You should re-think and stop,
Stop all of your stupid plans.
You need to find someone to hold you,
With a pair of gentle honest hands.

Your just a coward,
If you would think of suicide as your only choice.
There are people who love you,
You just need to listen to their voice.

They can help you through,
All of these hard times and pain,
So dont just sit there in self pity,
Don't spend another day with a life of broken chains.

have you ever notice that all who contemplate suicide are only thinking of themselves? will to squeeze that trigger, or swallow those pills w/out knowing who truly cares... sad, but love the poem
