from the light to the shadows

when it was the first time i layed eyes upon you
my legs felt heavy and dead
i'll never erase those 5 words you said
hey sexy, how are you?
i replied, nothing, how about you..
and after a while of deep conversation
asking weird questions like, what's your occupation?
but soon i came to figure
hey..i am in love with her...
and she just told me the same...
i love it how she says my name..
we gave ourselfs to eachother
hugging, kissing and even further..
it was the becoming the best year of my life..
i told myself maybe later this girl will be my wife
until she said that she never really loved me
that we were never really meant to be
she said "what a waste that long year was"
she regrets it...she really does..
i was destroyed on the inside
i went back home so my tears i could hide
a knife was the closest thing to me at the time
i said maybe what i'll say next will be my last line
i said "i hope you just die"
"this is my last good-bye
the knife went deep in me as i can remember
in the hospital i was with all my family..almost every member
"I'm alive?" i said..
"i thought that by now i'd be dead!"
a few month's passed by
and i remember what i did and ask myself..why?
why waste my time on such a bitch
who left me dying in an empty ditch..
now i'm just happy it's all just done
in the end i'm not the one that won
but the one that learned a lesson... |
