» Poem: You Had No Right
You Had No Right
written by wiltedrose
04:55 AM 3/31/05
Everything has been quiet
Pretending it’s all fine
But soon the death will strike
It always comes on time

I remember when it would never stop
The past haunts us all
That day someone called the cops
The chances were so small

I sat there on the floor
Almost taking my final breath
Then they came bursting through the door
I came so close to death

So now the mistakes I made
I will not ever forget
Although the reasons do fade
I have no final regrets

I would like to tell you here and now
That you had absolutely no right
To ruin my faithful vow
Just to come and save my life
