Final Solution
written by DarkeningBeauty12:10 PM 3/31/05Dawn
Beauty broken by gunshot
Into shadows forced
Hurt
Pushed, shoved, desperate
Cattle in a human form
Tension
Echoes around the box
Whimpering on a heroes face
Comfort
Words reach innocent ears
“It’ll be alright”
Sick
The scent of sweat and fear
Glares of those superior
Silence
Attempted laughter
Drowned by anxiety
Soldiers
Merciless it shows
Of those before them
Move
Through beautiful ranges
That cannot be seen
Here
Shaved, stripped, burnt
Separated, screams, cries
Dawn
The song of a bird
The lifting of spirits
The smile on a child’s face
The dawn of a new day
