One Last Wednesday

to see your smiling face.
I cant tell if youre laughing,
between each laugh theres a tear in your eye.
You used to cry on my shoulder,
now someone else is your beholder.
please come back today,
give me one last wednesday.
We're protagonists in this motion picture,
that ended before the story plot could finish.
Now I lay awake in bed,
my body, mind and soul all deminished. |
