On the outside

waiting
some day it will come
an escape from what i am
an escape from where i'm from
people think they know me
but they don't know what's inside
They don't know what i hide
I am a man and yet a wolf
It's a part of me
and me to it
We are one
now that i have told you
Don't throw a fit
don't run away
Don't hide
poeple think it's not real
Those that i have trusted laugh right in my face
But alas I have found the one
That takes me out of the corner and its shadows
And she knows
As she is too
She is woman and wolf
Wolf and woman
They are one
We are one
Alas I have found the one
The one I love
At night on the full moon we run on all our fours
In day we run on Human floors
Some day you will except us
for who we really are
But now i don't stand on the outside
And i'll never be alone |
