» Poem: Tired of Smiling
Tired of Smiling
written by Scythe42
02:48 AM 4/1/05
I'm so tired of everyone's smile,
Are they always happy,
Or are they trying to hide all that tragedy,
From behind their eyes,
Is their heart starting to burn alive,
Because all I see is a little smile,
And a happy giggle,
Why aren't there tears streaming down their face,
Why aren't there screams coming through that fake smile,
Because that's what I feel,
How is everyone so happy,
I thought their life was full of tragedy,
How do they survive,
While their heart's burning alive,
Don't they need help?
Don't they need love?
Because I don't think their truly happy,
Not if they're hiding so much tragedy,
From behind their eyes,
I just hope that they won't die,
And I hope that neither will I.
