» Poem: Empty Inside
Empty Inside
written by Scythe42

I'm so tired of faking my smile,
I'm so much better at frowning,
And so much better at screaming out the air left in my lungs,
Crying out the tears left in my bloodstream,
Why can't we just say what we feel?
Life would be so much simpler that way,
We could leave behind all those awful memories,
By leaving our pain and agony,
But if we say what we feel,
That would be called "impolite",
We are suppose to cover up our feelings and hide them away,
That's what we were taught to do,right?
Well,I don't give a damn about what anyone says,
I feel lonely,
I feel sad,
I feel rejected,
I feel nothing.
