Born In The Wrong Family
written by Starry_Nyght11:47 AM 4/1/05Okay, I'm adopted. You can tell me.
I'm not? Then explain why
I'm always at the music books
And then you make me cry
Say music isn't a career
Go study science instead
So I'll go to uni
But inside I feel so dead
I swear that I'm adopted. Just tell me.
Please? Then explain to me
Why when I went to Toogoolawah
It felt like coming home finally.
I sat behind the keyboard
played my music till I was numb
But someone heard me singing
And I felt my race was won
So tell me I'm adopted. Just say it please.
Because then it won't hurt so bad
When I decide to leave
I can't live my life
reaching your goals
And if I fall on my face
At least I did it by myself. |
