It Did Not Last,
As Long As I Had Thought.
Hell And Cheating, Pain And Hurt,
Made Me Feel Distraught.
You Confused Me, Made Me Cry.
I Know That You Don't Care.
I Know That You Will Cover Up,
And Act Like I'm Not There.
Well Wake Up,
And Open Your Eyes,
Closely Listen To This.
I Am Real.
I Am Here.
And Yes, I Do Exist.
I'm Not Something That Comes And Goes,
When You Want Me Around Or Not.
I'm Not Leaving, I'm Here To Stay,
So Put That Into Thought.
I Know You Hate Me,
I Can't Blame You.
But I Have Feelings Too.
If You Would Sit,
And Listen To Me,
Then We Could Make It Through.
You Go Have Fun,
Being Angry,
I Am Just As Mad.
Because You Treat Me Like I'm Trash,
Like An Old Passing Fad.
I'm A Person, Just Like You,
You Can't Just Throw Me Away.
Love Me One Day,
And Hate Me Tomorrow,
Is Not The Way To Play.
I Bite My Nails That Bleed My Blood,
Thinking About Only You.
Wondering If You'll Show Up,
Or Run Like You Always Do.
I've Lost Most Hope That I've Ever Had,
Waiting For The Day,
That You'll Come Back, And Mend My Heart,
Or Break It And Stay Away.
You Tell Me "You Have No Clue About The Way I Feel."
You'd Be Surprised,
Because I Know.
I've Also Learned To Deal.
I Wish That There Was A Way That I Could Get To You.
Make You Listen And Understand,
The Pain That I've Gone Through.
You Ripped My Fragile Heart In Half,
You Made Me Scream And Cry.
I Was Going To Ask For Your Forgiveness,
Now I'm Asking Why.
Why Did You Ignore Me?
Put Me Through That Hurt?
I'm Surprised You Didn't Call Me Names,
Or Push Me In The Dirt.
Because That's How The Things You Did Made Me Feel Inside,
Like My Soul Had Just Been Ripped Out.
Like My Spirit Died.
Looking At Your Picture Brings Back Memories,
Of How We Used To Be.
You Weren't Afraid To Show Me You,
And I Could Show You Me.
Now Those Feelings Have All Gone,
Never Coming Back.
Instead Of Moving Steps Ahead,
I Find I've Lost My Tracks.
The Wax Heart Inside Me Has Melted Away,
The Mirrors Have Been Cracked,
I Don't Know When You'll Realize,
That I Want You Back.
I Need You Back Into My Life,
I Need To See Your Face.
I Need To Hear "It'll Be Alright,"
I Need To Feel Your Grace.
I Want To See Your Gleaming Eyes,
See You Sit And Smile,
Tell Me That You'll Never Leave,
If Only For A While.
If I Could Find Just One Word,
To Describe The Way I Feel For You,
I Couldn't, It's Impossible.

Wish For The Best,
And Hope That You Do Care.
That Maybe You See Me Look At You,
See Me Standing There.
See My Eyes Fill Up With Tears,
And Feel The Pain I Feel.
