» Poem: Taking My Life
Taking My Life
written by stealfudge

Don't even pay attention to me
I'm just not worth your time
I walked this Earth down a broken road
There's no one to call mine
And as the sand trickles down
I watch my hour glass and wait
It must be perfect timing
My life's controled by fate.
I'll slice my wrists and black my eyes
You don'y know what you're saying
I'm NOT to young to die
But don't follow in my footsteps
These things I'm about to do
Just live your life to the fullest
I'll be so proud of you.
Forget you ever knew me
Scratch my name from every book
I've lived my whole life in saddness
Can't believe how long it took.
But I'm finally going to end it
This pain is just too real.
But it's nothing compared to the pain
That I'm about to feel.
I'll be watching over you
From wherever I may go.

Don't live your life like mine
A forgotten pile of waste
I've cried so many tears
I'll always remember their taste.
It lingers with me still
Like every broken heart
Remember that I loved you
But you tore my soul apart
I do this not because of you
But of the weight of my burdened soul
I do it because I can't handle it all
Everything's spun out of control.
I sign off this letter not with pain
But with hope
That where I'm going might be better
Than where I am today....

Good-bye.
