but the truth is : this is how I really am
this is the true me.
I kept the real me hidden away.
I didn't know if you would like the real me,
so I pretended to be someone else.
I've just gotten so comfortable around you,
the real me accidentaly slipped out.
Now you don't really know me.
Now you don't really love me.
You realize you loved a different me. |
