Origins
written by Tessin

Wence did you come?
By way of Allah?, God?, Reincarnation?
Big bangs? Buddha? Transmogrification?
Do you like sunday morning in church or outside?
Do you seek out forgiveness? or just let it ride?
Do you pray twice a day? five times? Maybe more?
Or when you hear "religion" do you run for the door?
Are you caught up in what happens after you die?
Are you too busy preaching to open your eyes?
Do you realize that regaurdless of what youve been told,
no story is proven, no matter how old?
Do you get that no matter what you may feel,
harassing other faiths won't strengthen appeal?
Mithra or Mary, whichever concieved you,
Ghandhi, mohamed, and Martin Luther preceed you..
Whatever your standpoint on theological rantings,
if you find yourself preaching to the point that you're panting,
you may just consider a chill pill or three.
You're certainly winning no battles with me.
Vishnu, Jahova, and old Abraham,
might dissaprove, or just not give a damn.
It's good to remember that living comes first,
and it's good to support instead of cohearse.
It might be better not to worry about when you die,
and concentrate more on a good wholesome life.
