» Poem: A Shot In The Dark
A Shot In The Dark
written by Tessin
07:32 PM 4/2/05
He picked up his pen, it hit about then,
"castles in the sky" was as far as he got.
Nobody saw, called the law,
not one person heard the shot.
Twas for the best, if it had hit his chest,
and got him in the heart.
But the thoughtful lead, found his head,
and tore his mind apart.
The man was wired, when the bullet fired,
was about to write too much.
So reason then, did him in,
And saved him from his crutch.
