» Poem: Transparent Ivory Day
Transparent Ivory Day
written by Tessin
07:35 PM 4/2/05
Perched on a white staircase with sun all around
a figure of Joyous content might be found.
On pure marble steps, to a wide open land
Farewell the old kingdom, the future's at hand.
With glistening beauty of empyrean styles,
I'll build a FREE city, On these white marble tiles.
Out of the darkness, and into the day,
the chains of restraint colapse and give way.
Erecting the statues, to honor the wars,
that led from futility, into freedom's doors.
Walk down the streets of grassy perfection,
touch clear fountain waters, with crystal reflection.
Admire the beauty, so quicky I built.
Relax in the safety, and feel you no guilt.
With Shimmering pillars and gardens up high,
I live in a castle i built in the sky.
