» Poem: Pitch black time
Pitch black time
written by The Black Halo
07:56 PM 4/2/05
If time is locked away,
And only angels know the key,
Would I still move, And live
In constant darkness?
Or would I freeze,
Along with the bloodstream of the planet?

Would my heart stop beating,
And my veins stop pulsing?
Or would I be alone -
In a world of pitch black time?

Walking,
Slowly.
Weaving
Between the masses of inanimation.

If I cried,
Would tears run down my cheek?
Would I feel the wet sensation,
Or would I even notice?

Everything seems so empty.
Even the clock has lost
Its tick,
Its tock,
Its chime.

All alone
In pitch black time.
