Never Again

I could see how the blood still coats you
Blood that once poured readily from my veins
It's a sickening reminder of how far I've fallen
In the months past
I've torn you from your rightful place
In the Chronicles of Time
And cast you into the Dark Abyss
Never again shall I hear your devilish whispers
Never again will I need to feel your biting kiss
I'm rising from the dead
And shaking off the ashes of a life I never wanted
The scars will fade away with time
Their numbers shrink with each passing day
Though they still remind me of all the love I had for
You |
