» Poem: Eternal Heartbreak
Eternal Heartbreak
written by xfadingmemoriesx

Who woulda’ thought,
the sun would still shine?
Now that I know,
I can’t make you mine?

And who knew,
that the rain would still fall?
After your heart,
didn’t return my call?

I never knew such a feeling,
it grows every day.
Stop holding me down,
how much can one heart weigh?

I have fallen in love,
and you won’t help me up.
And all I can relate to,
is a love-sick pup.

I remember the days,
when we’d play around.
When I’d see your face,
and feel my heart pound.

I know you don’t feel,
the way that I do.
But I can’t think,
of anyone else but you.

I hope someday you will,
change your mind.
Now I know why they say,
love is blind.
