So why couldn't I see?
Just how much you needed me
I thought you were alright
You didn't say anything to me
Thought about calling and trying to stop by
But I just got caught up with my life
The last time I saw you we had such a nice time
How could I not see?
All the ways you needed me
When we parted that night
I didn't think you would take your own life
Stunned and utterly confused
Not knowing what I should do
Can't believe that I didn't see
