Beasts of the Horizon
written by zen07:18 PM 4/6/04I can't avoid it day after day
I see more sheep making their way
Lost in life as a numbing haze
They follow the heard in their daily graze
Towing the load is a broken spirit
See not the driver for a dangling carrot
Ambition to grow as enticement elude
but once in posession the farce is renewed
now Rote repetition is all that is real
Lost is a passion, a dreaming, a zeal
You're free range naught consequence
As long as you roam inside your lil fence
