» Poem: train wreck
train wreck
written by Ltswtashley
10:47 PM 4/3/05
The sun had settled down producing only rain
as she stood there waiting patiently for the train
The black smoke rising from the pipes
To think that one fight led to all this hype
Thoughts flashed through her mind, as tears fell from her eyes
No one quite knowing why she cries
Sitting in a seat on the train
Each chug was one more gain
closer, closer
why did our relationship end this way?
to repeat the very last words that you say
Remembering all of the struggles and the fears
to bad, all led to tears
Her attire soon dampened by the puddles of water that fell
Why does this world seem like hell?
Every little memory was somehow hidden
for every act that was forbidden
Feeling hatred, and a fall by love
visioning the sky with the soft, white dove
Her eyes all red
for the trip she dred
All the lies he kept inside
only after years to be petrified
Needing to shed all this skin
to see the person within
Her heart was broken in two
This was all done by you
Feeling the anger below
looking through the glass window
The thin sheet of glass seperating the love and the hate
now, it's too late
We tried to make it last
but, all of it went too fast
You left me with no choice
to speak up with my voice
You will use me no more
leaving only the remains of the deepened sore
Her thought was an emotion mixed
never able to be fixed
I killed you, I killed you
seeing that you had no clue
You are deepening in the soil each day
To have seen you in the casket you lay
It hurt me to know I killed the man I wished to spend my time
but, with all the bruises and the pain, this wasn't a crime
