» Poem: Its My Fault
Its My Fault

we used to be close
the bestest friends in the world
we were partners in crime
our whole lives in a swirl

i stuck by ur side
but you faded away
i remember that time
that aweful day

you broke down crying
you lade your life on the floor
how you were beaten
how ur heart had been torn

your mom had done drugs
ur dad had forced sex
i listen in awe
my brain in a vex

i held you up
i held you close
i told you i loved you
as you fought off the ghosts

but now it seems differant
i have new friends
you proclaim to me soflty
ur life is at its end

i beg for and explanation
as you show me ur cuts
i feel tears roll down my cheeks
as i answer what

you tell me of last night
your attempt at suicide
all i could do
was stand there and cry

my beautiful angel
my love of my life
how could i let there
be so much strife

i think of that day
when you told me your pain
you looked for sunshine
but all you got was rain

you are lost now
and i blame myself
i cry myself to sleep
i gaze at ur picture on my shelf

i visit your gravesite
and ask God why your gone
could i have stopped this tragety
where did i go wrong

i wish i could have told you
this was not God's will
i wish i could have destroyed
every single last pill

Aww such a sad poem, but really good. I love where it says "I think of that day/when you told me your pain/you looked for sunshine/but all you got was rain" Nice job!

Oh, it's so sad. But it is very good.
