Rising from the darkness

a silhouette in fears
in the shadows of others and herself
lost in the darkness and not being in good health
a spinning motion out of control
not knowing if it was alright to come out of the darkened hole
her heart was as black as smoke
was shattered to pieces as her eyes were in a soak
never to be revived
always to have been deprived
a light soon brightened her path
possibly to be the wrath
but, this light, it guided her to life
out of the deep lies and strife
as she began to follow, life got better
but, as time went on, she began to get lost again, and her eyes soon became wetter
never so much as to say good bye
she grabbed a knife wanting to die
she had cut before, and everyone thought it was demented
as lies had been cemented
wishing life would end as it was at the time
needing something, something in her life to be sublime
her heart in ashes of dust
and die in rust
believing, believing, what was she to do?
seeing her life had no hew
not finding her way home, or out
walking in circles about
so many times passed and things missed
never to be in pure bliss
words of despair
she could not speak without a care
to be disparaged
becoming overly discouraged
dispersing the particles of ash
blown in the wind and her integrity into hash
the golden light reached her heart
the tears dried, and frowns faded, believing in a new start
in store for an adventure down hell's road
walking down as her heart soon to corrode
thoughts flashing, memories crashing
dreams, hopes, and everything for her future
remembering everything as they were
her life soon became crashing down before her very eyes
but, for the record, something became a paradise
the light that would become her dreams
apart her fears, dry her tears
not in the darkness, and able to be free
the scars have faded over years
but, she is rising and being freed from her blear |
