Beautiful Boy

Can't deny he's important to me
Brings out so much good in me
I know he won't always be so little
Or need me so
I'll always be there for him
Even if to hold his hand
Always going to try and understand
He'll always be perfect to me
Little boy barely three
As he stands
I try so hard to let him be
Afraid he'll fall or skin a knee
Stand behind and watch him close
Be there in case he needs me so
He'll never really see
How much he really means to me |
