More Meaning to the Same Old Thing
written by twistedmind3304:05 AM 4/4/05I walked past the room that once was yours
And couldn’t help but let the tears fall
Memories of late night talks
And awkward moments
Spring forward
A safe haven from my nightmares
Now causes new ones
I didn’t mean to be so rude
That awful day you left
I claimed I was tired
(Which I was)
But really
I felt useless
And everything was getting taken from me
Including you
The house that once was filled with laughter and fun
Is now empty
With only the sound of my music blaring
The same noise that you stuck up for me countless times before
Now, as you already know
Things will never be the same
But now I’ll have a new place to visit
Your home
A miniature of the one we once knew
But now is filled with so much more meaning |

Um.. My sisters moved out this weekend and this is my first attempt in writing my feelings down. And I actually have a little story about this. I was typing it up and my mom came up behind me and asked if I wrote that and I said yeah so she made me let her read it and then print it off and I bet now she's going to go show the whole world my *wonderful* poem. *eye roll* Yeah, just great.
