» Poem: Middle of the Night
Middle of the Night
written by Rogue

A few years ago
I thought I loved him so
Calls me up in the middle of the night
Fumble for the phone my minds afraid
When I see it's him I sigh
What more could he want from my life?
Knowing this could be a fight
I pick up the phone and hear his laughing tone
I'm between sleep and an awake state
Not much for these mind games nowadays
A lot of silence my way
Not like he's noticing
In the middle of his rant of what a good night it was
And how this girl was so plain
I give him an aww
Appologies he doesn't care
Finally telling him it's been a long night
I hang up the phone with such delight
Proceed back to sleep where a handsome
Italian man is seducing me........
