A Lover's Tale

With a heart so pure, like the angels above
His voice was so soothing, like a song from the trees
In the silence, his heart beat was music to me
But this boy didn’t know how I felt about him
‘Cause I kept all my feelings locked up within
As time went by, the more strongly I felt
Every time I would see him, my heart would just melt
Without any patience, I told him right there
“I love you a lot and I always will care”
After things were said, and nothing was done
I felt so embarrassed, I wanted to run
Then he took my hand, and kissed my cheek,
He covered my mouth and said to me “don’t speak”
Filled with joy and much excitement
To know that my love thinks I’m that important |
