Ocean

I breathe in the fresh air
I close my eyes tightly
No worries, no care
The gentle breeze the swaying of the sea
The touch of this chaotic look seems to watch over me
Does this sea have the answer that is looking for me?
Will peace be there for I do not care
I open my eyes as these thoughts run through
The serenity of the ocean seems to bring me back to you
The only care in my world that seems to keep me going
Falling for you happened without my knowing
Now I’m sitting here
Staring at the sea
Wondering why you aren't here with me
What did I do to make you walk away?
I close my eyes again thinking of things to say
But nothing i come up with is what I really feel
All my feelings, my emotions are completely concealed
The beauty of this ocean reminds me of the lovers we used to be
Just you and i doing the things we did before you abandoned me
With each passing wave
In my heart your love will stay
As I drift off into memories of yesterday
I drown and suffocate and the memories fill the empty piece in my heart again
The ocean seems more far away to stay
Is this in my dreams?
Or is this my reality
I dream of you here right next to me once more
While you were here you opened my door
To a path that I dreamt I would always find
And for that I love you with my heart, soul, and mind |

| this is such a beautiful poem... its good poetry, but then it also takes me to a place where i want to be. kind of nostalgic, but content and hopeful. this is just the kind of thing i would like to read every now and then. thank you for placing such a beautiful piece of peace in my heart =D I LOVE THE OCEAN!!! |
