Confused

They were all for you
How can you just give up
After all we've been through?
You promised that you wouldn't leave
That you wouldn't ever stray
But it's all my fault and I know
I guess I pushed you away
Why did you even play the part
Of the perfect boyfriend?
I tried to do my best; treat you right
But what you did was only pretend
I wish that I could take it all back
Everything wrong that I've done
So that we could go back to the way it was
So that I could again be your only one
I guess I just wasn't good enough
And I'm sorry I even tried
Because when you left me
A little part of me died
I wish you would just come back
Without you, I'm confused
I feel so lost, lonely, and alone
I just don't know what to do |
