It was you that left me alone
You were never there for me
And left a scar as you can see
But only in my eyes, when I cry
I didn't have any time to say good bye
Didn't have any time together to spend
And left me just to mend
All alone- you weren't there
To be there and take care
Of me, when I needed it most
And now you are not but a ghost.
A single memory left in my mind
Even that memory I cannot find
For it was never even mine to start
And now I just seem to dart
Every which way
And now all I have to say-
Is I wish you were here to see me now
I wish, but I'll never know how... |
