» Poem: Mirror Reflection
Mirror Reflection
written by DisposableTeen911
10:19 PM 4/4/05
I look at myself,
through a shattered mirror.
A mirror that tells my past.
A past of horrors and laughs.
Moments of abuse and smiles.
My life is so hard to understand.
Confuzing promises, dreaded "I Love You's"
Past of terrifying memories of life.
The hard slaps the mean punches,
look at my bruises and tell me what you see.
For me, I see nothing.
No love, no hope, no sweet innocense,
I have lived the path of hell,
and die the path of hell.
Getting out and on my own will be hard.
Loosen the chains from my ankles,
unlock my prison door that holds me.
