PEACE

When will the world finally come to a halt
and there will be some major change
is there any way to get rid of all this hate?
stop nation from fighting against nation
we are all the same, just on a different page
why create weapons that'll destroy our human race
after it's all over there'll be nothing left to trace
history will be washed away
is this what we're all waiting to come our way?
Death to come knocking on our front door
Every night we turn on the TV
Wat do we see on the news?
Someone blow up a building,
Someone got shot
Someone stole a plane
And ran it in the a building
A mother lost a son
A sister lost a brother
In a gange
Another life taken away
With showers of tears
And smiles gone frowns
Another murderer
Night after night
Each person they pray
For a life of a loved one
To come and to stay
How many tears must we shade?
How many lives must we lose?
How many life must be takin?
befor we learn this can’t go on much longer
It's time to stop all of this corrupting
another year rolls in and what have we learned
NOTHING except we'll never be at peace….. |
