Let Go of the Pain

The soul inside me ressurects
Dont mistake me for being upset
These tears I release
Feed my inner peace.
I clench my eyes tight
Release the pain into the air of the night
You take your share in
Becoming a part of me
You brought out the happiness I thought I'd never see.
I opened my eyes to a new life
Realizing I cant live off the past
I've let my demonic side go
This time there's no looking back.
The tension my body holds lets up
Just in time for me to look into your eyes
The second step to my cure
Your fear and pain quickly dies.
The corners of my mouth spread
As I feel your skin against mine
A new emotion takes charge
Chills running up my spine.
One thing I learned today
Rekindled everything I forgot to say
I cant seem to find my way around it
I just love you. |
