These Scars

That no one ever knew
My feelings are being poured out
Happy thoughts are few
These scars show my weakness
And push me to my knees
I yell at the top of my lungs
But no one hears my pleas
These scars tell me I’m worthless
And stupid me will listen
Losing faith and losing hope
Knowing I’ll never win
Each scar tells a story
When put together tells my life
Of how I never made it out
Of this hellhole full of strife |
