Dear Mother
written by OxBlack_BeautyxO05:05 AM 4/7/05Dear Mother,
I’ve written to you today
With this letter well thought out, I just have to say
I thank you for being there, for being here now
Someday I’ll repay you, somewhere, and somehow
I love you for bringing me into this world,
And for making me happy, and your little girl
No matter what age, the time, or the place
I’ll never forget your beautiful face
What a feeling it is to see you smile
Every tear, every heart beat, your elegant style
I’ll never forget all the times I was ill
When I was so contagious, you stuck by me, still
There were also times when things would go wrong
I knew you were right, but kept in all along
The advice that you give me, oh how I needed that
You made me feel better when I felt just plain fat
And all of these memories we share together
Just mother and daughter, and best friends forever |
