True poets?

and when everyone loose grip of reality
what than is there left of past heroik thougts?
Their gone, forgotten....
It's not about being the best in the world
it's not good rhymes that makes the tounge curl
It's about feelings, impressions and clever minds
and when those migthy things combines
than you can make the better rhymes
Never said I got it all
but by my words ill stand or fall
So many words of nothing, they are nothing,
mean nothing.. nothing...
The art of writing and others inspire
such talents are to admire.
If I can do it than my goal is acheieved
it's not as easey as I once believed
How can you value and empty word?
How can you curse without a reason for cursing?
How can you write of love without having felt love?
How can you speak of what you don't know?
Answear is... you can't, not fully, totally and truly.
So when you write a poem, good or bad
happy or sad..
Don't call uself a poet, cause it's not the writing itself that makes you one.
Only a reader who felt it can make you one, one who will remember thy words once you are gone. |

Am just so sick of people calling themselfs poets becase they can rhyme. You aren't a poet untill you can make people feel something by reading your words.. A poet is not a title you can just take, it's one you can be given. The day someone sais you are a poet after readin one of your poems, from that day it is a title you may use, untill than.. your just a writer.

| She isn't the worst. And not the best, but this piece of work makes sense.. And it should to you as well. Unless you lack common understanding.. As for not being a poet.. I could probably name every 'true' poet here... Guess I could consider you one now. |
