The Inevitable Presence
written by LorienDegwen102:28 AM 4/8/05I see him in my mind
He is there all the time
His face is wrinkled and old
But he seems still so bold
THis is just an illusion
A trick played by my mind
I hear his voice
I see his face
And then he quickly fades away
I love this presence
It keeps him close at hand
This inevitable presence
Keeps me nice and sane
It tells me not to take the blame
This presence is a good one
I always give in
To see my grandfather once again |
