Immortals

People searching for a new life to behold
Demons all around us trying to corrupt our souls
Pure hatred pulses through our veins
We are stripped of all happiness and light
Walking this earth, like immortals in the night
Always looking for something to end the eternal pain
We are trapped in a grave yard surrounded by corpses
Tombstones speak of our loved ones gone
The night only last so long, before its dawn
We are doomed to everlasting wondering
Tortured by the scaring regrets of our past
Allowing evil to seep into our wretched minds
Struggling to survive, wishing to wake up from this nightmare
Freedom doesn't exist, only fear and pain remain |
