» Poem: Broken Hive |
Broken Hive
written by Niyaz03:34 AM 4/8/05Doubtful oblivion buries me in lies
A single voice wants my heart to survive
Yet I still fall within treacherous cries
As they take me down to a torn up hive
Sweet honey has ceased to fall
And within chaos we all try to fly
Yet all those treacherous lies seem to call
And they all tell me to not even try
New wings want to sprout yet hope mocks my heart
A single strand of innocence holds strong
Stopping my seams from just falling apart
And they all leave with their eternal song
Take my broken wings and teach me to fly
Please don’t follow me but instead just try. |
