» Poem: Little girl
Little girl
written by Rogue
08:56 AM 4/8/05
I opened up my baby book
Took one very long look
I know it's been a little while
Barely remember your smile
Wish I could just glance
Never forget that dance
I wanted everything
Even bought me that highschool ring

I always be your little girl
Pigtails and pearls
Oh yeah I remember that
I never knew it wouldn't last

People ask me how i'm doing
I say just fine
They must be blind
Somedays I can't get out of bed
Those are the days I wish you weren't dead

If I could hear your voice
If I could see you smile
If you could give me a wink
Maybe even a hug for a while

I know that I'll always be your little girl
Take me back to the ribbons and the pearls
I'll hold the memories tight
Even now and then i'll cry
Ask the lord why you had to go
No I'll never know
How much I loved you so
