The End

How is it that she can deal?
Is any of this real?
A smile is her mask
Like a fragile shell
That covers up her emotional hell
All she can do is wait
For it to end-this life she hates
Apathy on the outside
Chaos on the inside
The lies feed the anger
And the infinite sadness
That lies within
And devours everything
The alcohol that numbs... her one understanding friend
The knife that is only waiting to end..
This pain that she hides
The shell almost broken
The feelings about to overcome
Only time can tell
How much longer she'll last
For... my friends...
It's almost the end |
