» Poem: Dead inside
Dead inside
written by melons

I wanted to teach you a lesson
To show you that I was alive
That I was not who you thought I was
To show you that I was not dead inside

For every time you broke my heart
It would mend itself for you would never,
Tend to my hearts needs you left it to bleed
And yet still its not mended, will it ever?

You will always be my first love
And hopefully not the last
I’m glad I’m on my own again
So now I can finally forget my past
