She Didn't Mean To

But no raindrops fall
She's staring out the window
And looking at nothing at all
Then the raindrops come down
Along with all her tears
She buries her head in her hands
Revealed are all her fears
She never shows it well enough
But she absolutely adores him
She doesn't like to make it obvious
But she'd do anything for him
She keeps messing up all the time
One mistake leads to a fight
She doesn't know why she does it
She knows she's never right
Sometimes she knows she's acting stupid
And she just wants him to yell
Why she does it, she doesn't know
But if she did; she wouldn't tell
She can only hope that he isn't upset
And that maybe he might forgive her
Because she didn't mean to yell
She didn't mean to lose her temper |
