GiRl HaS tO mOvE oN!

Though I know it is with her
So I’ll just keep on smiling
With the memories of what we were
I’ll remember the times I had you
When you were only mine
One day I know it will get easier
But things like this take time
I know that I have to be strong
And for my sake I swear I will
But moving on and letting you go
Does not mean I’ll not love you still
I know that we will never be
Everything that we once were
But my tears are slowly drying
From the state of my tainted tear blur
I will always remember what you promised me
Even though that promise will never be true
But promises are always breaking
I guess that’s what their there to do
I’m slowly getting better
And right now no tears are starting to fall
I’m going to do my best to get over you
And I’m going to give it my all
I’ll keep the promise I told you
Well I’ll try my very best
I’ll get rid of the love I once had for you
Or I’ll put my love to rest
I’ll pick up the pieces of my heart
And put them back together
I’ll forget the promises you made to me
Even the one about forever
I’m going to listen to what people say
And take their helpful advice
Someday I will be happy again
And fully move on with my life
I know I will always love you
Even though you’ll probably never feel the same
But in my heart forever
Will be the remainder of your name
I’m sorry for everything I caused you
And for going along with that lie
But please can we just stay friends
Cause I don’t want to permanently say good-bye
Well I’m picking up my heart now
And making it whole again
It’s time for me to move on
Instead of dwelling in the pain
I’m going to keep on walking now
And only turn around if you pull me back
I’ll walk into the sunset
And get my life back on track
The memories of us I’ll keep forever
Even though their done and gone
But this is just the beginning of my story
