Let Me Go

Like it's not important how I feel
You see me and you smile that smile
You know i'm miserable, all the while
You bring your boyfriends around me
Hoping that I'll look and that I'll see
That I was nothing to you
You know it's what you try to do
When you come around I only act strong
I've been thinking about you for so long
I want to tell you I love you but it's no use
You're heartless; you won't see the truth
Why do you do this? I'm of no use to you
Have you forgotten all that we've been through
I've always been there for you, no matter what
Don't you remember? I convinced you not to cut
You seem so ungrateful, or did you forget?
I was the only one that never treated you like shit
I'm a fool for you. Why? I don't know
So just please do me a favor: let me go |
