Dear Daddy...

This is Nikki, remember me? The little girl you left behind? Oh Daddy! I use to miss you so much! But I'm all grown up now, and I know the reasons. Mommy wouldn't tell me, but I figured it out. It's amazing what you can recall of your childhood. I use to write to you every day. Now I barely think of you. Do you ever think of me? I doubt it. Well Daddy, your little girl screwed up her life, do you care? Why would you? Can you even comprehend the consequences of your actions? You sentenced me to life without a father. How could you? You knew how it felt, being abandonned yourself. I grew up without you. And I'm just fine now...yeah just fucking fine now. Daddy, I hope you're satisfied in your life. I hope you have a nice wife and kids to surround you. I just wanted to tell you that I tried so hard to hate you, but I know that I can't. Hatred isn't a part of me. Don't worry, you won't hear from me again. I know you don't want me. And I can't place all the blame on you. My therapist tells me to forgive, and find God. So I forgive you, but I'll never forget your neglect. After all these years...I still love you,
