» Poem: Weathering of the Mind
Weathering of the Mind
written by Emo_Death_Wish
11:22 PM 4/9/04

Supposed father that hits me with every stare
Supposed courage to live life but do I dare
Supposed friends talk and then glare
This to be my last moment to spare

False to me was every soul
To seek a flaw to write my wrongs
My whispered secret that you told
My voice, my spirit no longer strong

Weathering of the mind
Breaking down every bit of conscience
This sweeping wind that takes so little time
Must find something to relieve this nonsense

Woe is me in every way
To bleed my arms to stop my lungs
My unfair debts you made me pay
My broken scars, my swells still being stung.
