» Poem: Dementia
Dementia
written by Lady Deathstrike
09:36 PM 4/8/05
Memories consume me
Veils of a shadowy past
Try to forget it
Let it go
Tell myself the pain wont last

From a love forged in hatred
Built up in secrecy
To the death of all things beautiful
I find it wasn't meant to be

The scars are slowly healing
But I fear they may never truly go away
Day by day, against my will, I find myself loosing you the same old way
For what is now gone
I cannot seem to leave behind

In the hollow darkness
Nightmares come to call
Broken heart, battered soul
Silent screams distort it all
What is real and what is not
What was a figment
and what should be lost
